Exceptional Advanced Control Engineers Required (Europe and Australia)

Due to a healthy backlog of work with established customers we are looking for highly experienced Advanced Control Engineers for our teams in Europe and Australia.  Specifically we are inviting expressions of interest from candidates with the following attributes:

• Passionate about improved process control and the benefits that it can deliver when implemented well;
• Innovative with a desire to enhance technology, improve application designs and evolve as an APC professional;
• Thorough understanding of hydrocarbon related processes, preferably from experience with oil refining, petrochemicals and/or LNG production facilities (Experience with Mineral Processing and specifically Alumina Refining would be a plus);
• Significant experience with APC, including expert level understanding of at least one Multivariable Predictive Control product (DMCplus and/or RMPCT would be a plus);
• Strength in regulatory control design, troubleshooting and PID loop tuning;
• Experience with DCS configuration and advanced knowledge of at least one system (OPC interfacing experience also preferable);
• A practical understanding of plant operations and operator needs (operating company employment history would be a plus)
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and good presentation ability;
• Good project management skills and commercial awareness;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to recognise and interpret customer needs;
• Prepared to travel to customer sites when necessary;
• A results driven and self managed team player who enjoys success.
